What’s been happening:

My four years at University Park were formative. Some educators greatly influenced me; David Axelrod, Ralph Condee, G.K. Nelson, Lawrence Lattman, Bill Koll, and Joe Paterno. Some joys that stick out: Jammys ( G-L-O-R-I-A), all-night chess games, the sound of the Beatles Sgt. Pepper , and the connecting power of uniting behind our sports teams. I graduated in Accounting. I went to New York City and worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. After six years, I went to G+W Industries to see big business from the other side of the desk. I became a CPA in 1977. (In 1981 I stopped working long enough to connect with a beautiful, smart, caring, women; who I love. She married me in 1982. After eight years with G+W, I had an opportunity to become a CFO of a designer shoe business, SUSANBENNISWARRENEDWARDS. After fifteen years there; twenty nine total; I discovered that working hard and learning a lot to the exclusion of nurturing relationships would become a disaster if I let it. In 2000, we moved to Belleair Beach, Florida (25 mi. W of Tampa). I changed careers and learned to cultivate relationships, and experience the true joys of life. My wife Susan and our two dogs, Boomer and Maude, and I have fun on the Gulf of Mexico. I have learned that our love and my relationship with them is the most important thing in my Life. Thank you Penn State.
